If you want personal or family time, you must plan for it. Homebased businesses owners often forget this step because they are "always home". With June and the Summer season just around the corner, flip open your planner (or flip on your pilot) and block off the time YOU want, now. I use a blue highlighter and actually mark the time I'll be "unavailable to my clients" – they don't need to know I'm at the park with my kids! Planning and honoring your free time leads to a happier home business owner. Unplanned free time disappears like a puddle of summer rain. Remember: Personal time is the savings account for sanity.
